Raspberry Pi Launches AI Camera Module for Easy Image Classification

Recently, Raspberry Pi released a new camera module - the AI Camera, priced at $70. This device looks similar to a standard camera module but is equipped with powerful AI processing capabilities. The AI Camera is based on Sony's IMX500 smart vision sensor, featuring a 12.3-megapixel CMOS image sensor, and is capable of local inference processing, meaning there is no longer a need for a separate accelerator or for the Raspberry Pi's CPU to handle heavy visual AI tasks.
